Weddings and Engagements | A few favorites from 2020
I'm incredibly grateful that I could still do what I love and meet some fantastic people throughout this year! I was lucky enough to start the year with Olivia and John's wedding before COVID hit the US. When I look back at this wedding, it makes me realize just what joyous and vital event weddings can be. Having family and friends at our weddings seems like a luxury that we can no longer afford. I'm genuinely looking forward to when we can all celebrate love together in big groups again!
Can we talk about this fantastic venue for a second! Not only is the Barns at Cooper Molera a gorgeous venue, but their team is also phenomenal! I could share many pics of just the venue, but I will save that for another post.
Throughout this year, I've done my best to focus on the silver linings. My favorite being all the many Engagement shoots! Kyler and Carolita, came out to Wilder Ranch for their sunset engagement session.
I've had a blast planning and shooting some of my favorite engagement sessions this year. I'm also lucky to have amazing clients like Ryan & Nataly that are willing to meet me at Sutro Baths in San Francisco before sunrise for their shoot; thanks for trusting me!
2020 has shown us that there are many ways to celebrate love! Kyler and Carolita proved that love does conquer all when they drove 2,500 Miles from Tenessee to California to get married in a beautiful intimate ceremony among the Redwoods. As much as I love big weddings, these mini gatherings have a lot to offer. We all celebrate love in our way, and I'm here for all of it!
Another highlight was Audrey and Mathew's epic engagement session. First, the sunset was simply breathtaking! But also they brought their sweet little doggy, Laker, along! More dogs at weddings and engagements, please!
Lastly, I wanted to share Sommer and Adam's spur-of-the-moment Elopement at Valencia Hall in Santa Cruz. A little hidden gem in the middle of the redwood forest.
It has been great to look back over the shoots I've done this year. I'm so grateful to each client and vendor; thank you all! It was tough to pick only a few favorites when I have so many!
