Things You Might Be Wondering
What does all-day wedding coverage mean?
For me, all-day coverage means I’m there to document your wedding day as it naturally unfolds, without watching the clock the whole time. I used to offer fixed-hour packages, but I found couples often ended up stressed trying to squeeze everything into a timeline. Weddings are real life, and sometimes things run late, emotional moments happen unexpectedly, or the dance floor suddenly gets really fun.
Your wedding day is the only thing I book that day. I’d love to be there from getting ready through the after party, but if you’d prefer more privacy during certain parts of the day, like getting ready, that’s completely fine too. It’s your wedding day.
How would you describe your photography style?
My approach is very documentary and candid focused, while still making sure you have beautiful family photos and couples portraits. I want you to actually enjoy your wedding day and be present in it, not feel like you’re stuck in a photo shoot the entire time.
Some couples want to wander off for lots of portraits in beautiful locations, and others only want to spend 20 minutes on photos before getting back to the party. Both are completely okay with me. I’ll always follow your lead and what feels right for your day while documenting everything as naturally and honestly as possible.
We’re awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely. Most of my couples tell me this at some point, and honestly, I’m much more comfortable behind the camera myself. The good news is that on your wedding day, you’re usually so happy and focused on each other that it becomes much easier than you expect.
My approach is very gentle and relaxed. I’ll guide you into good light and beautiful locations, give you little prompts or direction when needed, and then let you interact naturally. I always tell couples that if you want candid photos, the best thing you can do is simply enjoy being together.
I promise I won’t leave you standing there wondering what to do with your hands. I’ll absolutely be your hype woman for the day, and my goal is for the experience to feel fun, easy, and natural instead of awkward or overly posed.
How many photos will we receive?
This is one of the questions I get asked the most, and the honest answer is that it really depends on your wedding day. Larger weddings with lots of guests, family photo combinations, activities, and events will naturally end up with more photos than a smaller intimate wedding or elopement.
What I can promise is that you’ll receive all of the good images. I’m definitely a chronic overshooter, especially because my approach is very candid and documentary focused. I tend to shoot through moments so I can catch the real expressions, movement, laughter, and in-between moments without worrying about someone blinking or making a weird face.
Most wedding galleries end up somewhere around 500–1000+ edited images, and full traditional wedding days are often well over a thousand. There’s no hidden “upgrade to receive more photos” situation. If it’s a meaningful, beautiful image from your day, it’s included in your gallery.
How long does it take to get our photos back?
This depends a little on the time of year. Earlier in the wedding season, galleries are usually delivered faster, while the busy fall months can take a bit longer simply because I’m working through more weddings at once.
That said, I know how excited couples are to relive their day, so I send sneak peeks very quickly, usually within 24–48 hours after the wedding. Sometimes there’s even a second round of sneak peeks if there were just too many good moments not to share right away.
For the full gallery, turnaround is typically around 12–24 weeks depending on the season and the size of the wedding. I’m honestly a bit of a perfectionist and personally go through every image before it reaches your gallery. Whether it’s removing a distracting soda can from an otherwise beautiful moment or carefully editing portraits, I want the final gallery to feel thoughtful, polished, and truly finished rather than rushed.
Can we request specific photos or share inspiration?
Absolutely. This is your wedding day, and I’m there to photograph it for you. If there are specific photos, family combinations, trends, or ideas you love, I’m always happy to see them and do my best to make them happen.
I never want couples to feel awkward about sharing inspiration or asking for certain moments to be captured. My goal is always to balance the photos that matter to you with keeping the day feeling relaxed, real, and enjoyable.
