Harvest Moon Wedding | Melanie & Shem
There were so many things that made Melanie & Shem's wedding special. For one, they had their wedding on a Monday to coincide with the Harvest Moon. They wanted to have an outdoor celebration with close friends and family under the glow of the full moon.
They had their first look in front of this gorgeous big red barn where the cocktail hour was later held. I just love the look on Shem's face when he saw his stunning bride for the first time! They brought some champagne to pop for a photo for their couple's portraits, and it turned out great!
Their ceremony on the lawn under an enormous old Oak tree was intimate, spiritual, and beautiful. Melanie has the most beautiful laugh and smile that Shem just knows how to bring out. Like he did when for their first kiss, he popped his leg in the air.
Cocktail hour was held inside the big red barn. After making their grand entrance as Mr. & Mrs., they had their first dance. After some heartfelt toasts and prayer, they enjoyed conversing with their guests before sneaking out for some quick sunset photos in the garden.
The setup for the reception was truly magical! Ample fairy lights and candles set a wonderful atmosphere after the sunset. The tables were also elegantly decorated with olive tree branches and matching napkins.
They concluded the night with a fun sparkler exit! Thank you, Melanie & Shem, for letting me be a part of your special day!
