I'm incredibly grateful that I was still able to do what I love and meet some fantastic people throughout this year! I was lucky enough to start the year with Olivia and John's wedding before COVID hit the US. When I look back at this wedding, it makes me realize just what joyous and important event weddings can be. Having family and friends at our weddings seems like a luxury that we can no longer afford. I'm genuinely looking forward to when we can all celebrate love together in big groups again!
And yet 2020 has shown us that there are many ways to celebrate love! Kyler and Carolita proved that love does conquer all when they drove 2,500 Miles from Tenessee to California to get married in a beautiful intimate ceremony among the Redwoods. Minimonies, as we now call them, and Elopements have become a part of my packages, and I'm so glad it has. As much as I love big weddings, these mini gatherings have a lot to offer. We all celebrate love in our way, and I'm here for all of it!
Throughout this year, I've done my best to focus on the silver linings. My favorite being all the many Engagement shoots! I've had a blast planning and shooting some of my favorite engagement sessions this year. I'm also lucky to have amazing clients like Ryan & Nataly that are willing to meet me in San Francisco before sunrise for their shoot; thanks for trusting me!
For all those that have had to reschedule or postpone their celebrations, I'll quote Danielle Steel "Some things in life are worth waiting for."
2021 is going to be a busy year. I say, bring it on!
It has been great to look back over the shoots I've done this year. I'm so grateful to each client and vendor; thank you all! It was tough to pick only a few favorites when I have so many!
